Tire Inspection
It is recommended to have your tires inspected by a trained technician each time your vehicle is in for service to ensure they are properly inflated so that your investment remains safe on the road. Having your tire pressures checked and set to vehicle manufacturers' recommendations, usually found on a sticker on the driver side door frame, allows the tires to wear evenly, distribute the weight of the vehicle evenly, and have proper traction on the road. It also does not hurt to have your tires inspected before a road trip. Safety Tip! The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Rubber Manufacturers of North America, North American Tire Dealers Association, and 4 of 5 Dentists agree that tires should be changed before they reach 6 years of age regardless of mileage. Truth Alert! Tires deteriorate over time and can and literally come apart while driving. To get your tires inspected, give Adams Tireworx a call or request an appointment.
