Tire Rotation
It is important to have your tires rotated on a regular basis, the interval of which can be found in the Vehicle’s Owner’s Manual. (Typically, it's around every 5,000 miles.) As front tires generally carry a heavier load than the rear, front tires wear out more quickly than rear tires. Additionally, the passenger front tire wears out more quickly than the driver’s front tire as drivers tend to turn left faster than they turn right. When speaking with a trained technician, he or she can determine in which direction to rotate the tires to extend the life of the tires and help maximize your transportation dollars by limiting the need to replace tires on the vehicle.
